This is a solo piano performance by Rick of a song he wrote

Rick Enloe's Talent

Rick had great timing, tasteful licks with perfect intonation. And fast! I swear he could play more than 15 notes in 3 seconds flat, cleanly! Not human!

Out of curiosity, I counted them on Pro Tools at 1/8 time, stretched out and expanded the wave form, and yes, that's really what he played.

I have a “wave form peak graph” where you can clearly see each note. I had to EQ heavy to move his lead away from the other music to ISO him. That many notes in that short of time! YES, CLEARLY VISABLE.

Here is another thing I played around with. I “cut and pasted” and shifted each rift, under each other in order, 7 times. Then I expanded the wave form. Other than his end phrase accents, he was “Spot On” the moving “Time Code Bar”! Totally Unreal!

I have never encountered anything, as of yet, like this with sound edits ever!

He was “special” but he didn't think so at all. He said giggling, “Ahh, I just play what I feel, that's all”. Yeah Right! Was my response in disbelief. Have a listen to our Nelson/Hageman song {First Met You}. Listen to his lead. Outstanding! He could make that Stratocaster sound like a pedal steel. Insane finger picking! Plus he played the piano and any other stringed instrument. Wow! An unbelievable talent!
